-Part of Detroit Free Press team that in 2008 received a Gerald Loeb Award for honorable mention, breaking news for stories about a new United Auto Workers labor contract

-Finalist for the Institute on Political Journalism’s 2006 Excellence in Economic Journalism Award for year-long Dallas Morning News series about China’s impact on the Texas economy
